Pasta e Piselli

Simple ingredients come together quickly in this bright, buttery pasta with peas and fresh herbs. Ready in 15 minutes, it’s an easy weeknight dinner that proves simple pasta can still be deeply satisfying. It’s especially great when you don’t have any fresh veg.

🕒 Prep & Cook Time: 15 min | Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Brami Curly Macaroni

  • 1½ cup frozen peas

  • ½ stick butter, softened

  • ¾ cup of various finely chopped herbs, like chives, basil, and parsley 

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, add butter, herbs, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add frozen peas so they can cook with the pasta. Drain pasta, making sure to save ½ cup of pasta water. 

  3. Immediately add hot pasta and peas to the bowl with the butter mixture, along with the reserved pasta water. Stir until everything is well combined. Season to taste and serve with Parmesan if desired.
